My School Research Paper

Introduction
Many years ago, as we arrived in New York City at the "New York International Airport", so anxious to see the famous city called "The Big Apple," many people talked about it, not knowing the challenges ahead of us. We had no idea why New York City was called by that name. In our child like minds, the big apple it was more like a place with a very big apple, somewhere in the city of New York. My older sister and I, created in our minds a wonderful picture of the city of New York.

As my father my sister and I, stepped out from the plane, my youngest sister urgently took us by surprise to go to the bathroom. We did not know a word in the new language, but the embarrassment of the accident at the big apple, and not able to ask where was the nearby ladies bathroom, was an awful feeling.

My dear sister couldn't wait and, she wet on herself, you could not imagine the sense of hopelessness; my dad had. It was his youngest daughter, that recently she almost died in a diabetic coma, and there he was without any knowledge of the new language. It was a cold night and the airport was congested, beside's we were all scared of the big city.
I have heard other stories from other people as they traveled to different countries how they felt.

Thesis Statement

The result of children moving to different countries, and learn a different culture, language, and meeting new friends but losing their families and friends, creates in our generation a loss of identity.

Outline

(1) Families would panic when moving to a new Country or New City.

(2) The language barrier slows down learning abilities at school.

(3) Peer pressure in foreign children in, classroom causes severe trauma in their learning abilities.

(4) Adapting to a new place, takes time, and to learn from different background levels.

(5) Children at School and special programs for ESL English as a Second Language.

(6) Children losing their native language creates a hardship with respect to parents as well.

Conclusion

Perhaps, adults adapt slower than children when changing their countries or cities of origin, because children enjoy changes and the excitement of the moment; reflect on children's behavior such attitude's, moods, and self esteem in most cases happen to foreign families.
